SASES Tour 5: Non-Crop Plant Production Systems

Tours Plants have many uses and this tour will highlight some of those. Well begin on the turf at either the Red or Bengals Stadium (depending who's in playoffs), continue to a behind-the-scenes view of the spectacular ornamental displays at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanic Garden, see the rescue program of Hamilton Countys only indigenous endangered species (Running Buffalo Clover), and finish with switchgrass production at the Maysville cofiring plant. Lunch will be at the 6-acre food lover's paradise at Jungle Jims International Market a supermarket unlike any other you've ever experienced.
