ABSTRACT WITHDRAWN

This is to demonstrate the critical procedures for improving the accuracy and precision of chemical analyses for various samples in the Soil and Water Research Laboratory at UF TREC-Homestead certified by NELAC (national Environmental Laboratory of Accreditation Conference). Major challenges that most laboratories face for their credibility are quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures, which usually play a critical role to maintain the excellence of analytical performances. Implementation of standard operation procedures (SOPs), high-performed instruments, efficient management, well-trained chemists, and actively participating in programs of Round-robin and Proficiency Testing are keys to maintain an outstanding laboratory for chemical analysis.
