271 Symposium--USDA-SCRI Turfgrass Breeding Projects

Oral Session
C05 Turfgrass Science
In recent years, the USDA has funded two SCRI turfgrass breeding projects.  These two projects, one focused on fine fescues and the other on warm-season grasses, are comprised of high-functioning, transdisciplinary teams of researchers, and include social science components.  Learn how these projects work and participate in discussions of future federal funding of turfgrass research.
