A02 Military Land Use & Management
The goal of this session is to provide a broad overview of invasive species on military and public lands. Presenters will discuss the policy and biology behind the spread of invasive species, and will discuss methods for control of invasive species. Presenters will also discuss the effects of invasive species on native species, and will discuss how invasive species affect the usage of military land (ex. danger to soldiers from flammable plants or from thorns) and other public land (ex. grazing and agriculture).
