Classroom activities involving seeds can help students understand basic principle of biology, as well as provide opportunities to develop writing and critical thinking skills.  Additionally, seeds can make practicing math more fun or provide alternatives for visual art activities.  This workshop will demonstrate some simple, inexpensive activities that can be done in your classroom and documented in a student-created notebook.  Additional references for seed-related activities will also be provided.
