Oral SessionS01 Soil Physics Patterns - observable and (to some extent) predictable recurrent changes - provide a wealth of information about soils. Substantial amounts of research are devoted to discerning and/or creating patterns. Pattern recognition brings together information from different scales, both spatial and temporal. Papers are welcome on spatial, temporal, and scaling patterns in soil physical, chemical and biological properties at various scales. We are requesting contributions on pattern recognition applied to soils, measurement techniques, and the applications of pattern parameters to characterize and predict soil functioning.
