Oral SessionS05 Pedology Drastically disturbed landscapes require unique knowledge of disturbance-plant- pedologic processes in order for lands to be effectively reclaimed and managed. Such landscapes are utilized for a variety of purposes, and restoration activities are thus often site-specific. This symposium focuses on the management and restoration of drastically disturbed landscapes, and provides an opportunity for a variety of soil science disciplines to discuss techniques and site histories highlighting research from such landscapes.
