In an increasingly global world, students need authentic international experiences even when they are unable to travel themselves. We used Adobe Connect, Skype, and Google+ to connect a class of our students with students at Moi University in Eldoret, Kenya and at the University of Fort Hare in Alice, South Africa. Students worked together on common topics and prepared PowerPoint presentations that were presented and discussed together in real time. Particularly interesting discussions occurred when students from one country presented topics specific to one of the other countries.
