S07 Forest, Range & Wildland Soils In recognition of the seminal contributions of Dr. S. A. Wilde to the field of forest, range, and wildland soils, Division S-7 of the Soil Science Society of America established the Sergei A. Wilde Distinguished Lectureship on Forest Soils. The Wilde Lectureship stands tall among a small handful of premier lectureships at the annual Soil Science Society of America meeting and elevates the stature and recognition of forest soils within the larger international soil science community.
