Abstract:
Utilization of water for agricultural production comprises the largest percentage of water used by humans in states of high agricultural production. In the western U.S., water has been and will increasingly become a limiting factor for agricultural production as Environmental concerns,  population growth increases, and increased demands for agricultural production increase the demand for water and limit the availability for agricultural production. Utilization of Irrigaid Gold Soil Surfactant (IGG) has resulted in increased volumetric water content in annual and perennial crops, increased quality and yield when applied under deficit irrigation and simulated deficit irrigation.
