The objective of this study is to measure the feed value of alternative forages for livestock. The forages included in this study were of grass hay and legumes. As an alternative to alfalfa and corn fed to livestock in much of the country, the sample forages were measured for effectiveness in feed value and growth in the southeast Idaho climate.
