Want ideas on how to make science, research, and unbiased information engaging online? Is it time to reach a broader clientele? Ready to share your agricultural expertise and story with the world? Want to have fun while doing all of those things? Learn how a small town ranch kid, educated in agricultural and animal sciences is trying to take the social media world by storm, and what she has learned along the way. Tips and techniques for blogging, facebook, twitter, Instagram, and other online platforms will be shared. Gain a better understanding of how to make your social media presence shine, how to determine what topics to discuss, how to collaborate, and how to have conversations with non-agriculture people, students, and clientele. This session is for everyone – from the newbie deciding where to begin, to the experienced persons who may need just a couple of tweaks. Make sure you are ready for the grand challenges of the 21st century by being equipped to offer great solutions digitally!
