426 Soil Tillage and Crop Residue Managements - Physical, Chemical, and Biological Effects

Poster Session
SSSA Division: Soil & Water Management & Conservation
Tillage practices and crop residue management continue to evolve with changing cropping systems. In many instances, tillage and residue management have a significant effect on numerous soil processes due to their impact of the soil thermal and moisture regimes. This session will highlight the role of tillage and residue management in optimizing crop production and reducing environmental impacts.
