Abstract:
Four RCBD trials with nine replications were conducted in 2014 at four locations in Nebraska. Each of the four locations had one or two micronutrients applied (B, Mn, Fe, Zn) at different rates (1 and 2 times recommended rate) and growth stages (V10, V15, R1 and/or R3). The applied micronutrients were selected at each location due to plant tissue samples (V4) indicating a "low" level of the applied micronutrient. Whole plant samples were cut at ground level at V6, V12, V17, R2, and R6; partitioned into leaves, stalks, reproductive parts, and grain where appropriate; dried and weighed; and analyzed for nutrient concentrations. Yield was harvested at physiological maturity with a plot combine. The results of these analyses will be presented.
