Herbicide Fate and Transport: What I Learned from a Soil Chemist.

Understanding the environmental fate and transport of agrochemicals is an interesting and challenging area of agronomic sciences that was a lifetime career for Dr. William Koskinen.  Bill contributed to and influenced the methods to examine herbicide and insecticide fate in soils including sorption, desorption, metabolism, transport, transport of metabolites, macroporous flow, and the influence of organic matter on these properties.  This symposium honors his specific impact in the science.
