Abstract:
This paper presents the results of the AgMIP Soil and Crop Rotation Key Interaction. Several models were intercompared against measured yield, soil carbon, and soil water balance in different sites across the world. The difference between models revealed valuable information on the processes that may require further attention for future studies of climate change impact on crop production. Models were also ran with climate scenarios in rotational mode without annual reinitialization.
