Abstract:
USDA-NRCS has developed the Stewardship Tool for Environmental Performance in an effort to guide the appropriate conservation practices to the appropriate fields. The tool is intended to guide overall environmental performance of conservation practices, with the components for nutrients, pest management, pasture, rangeland, and wildlife as resource concerns that the tool considers. In this presentation, the results of a review of the STEP nutrient component will be presented.
