Abstract:
This presentation will include information on utility patents, a form if intellectual property that may be granted to anyone who invents or discovers any new and useful composition of matter, or any new and useful improvement thereof, as used for plants; and  plant patents, which may be granted to anyone who invents or discovers and asexually reproduces any distinct and new variety of plant.  Both of these forms of IP are issued by the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office.
