Abstract:
Predation is a powerful tool in pest management, and farm management decisions can influence the intensity of this ecosystem service. Our research shows that habitat stability (reducing disturbance) and increasing biodiversity (especially vegetation) are inherent in using predators as a tool for managing pests, both insect pests and weed seeds.
