Monsanto company has tested thousands of transgenes in the field and has made tremendous efforts to identify high yielding genes to maximize farmer’s profits. One of transgene has showed yield enhancement in soybean in multiple locations and multiple years. However, what agronomic traits caused the yield improvement was still not clear. Field trials and growth chambers experiments have been conducted in the last 3 years to understand how this transgene impact the plant growth, pod formation, and yield components and how this traits contribute the yield enhancement.
