2008 Joint Annual Meeting (5-9 Oct. 2008): Extension and the Developing World.

This talk will focus on new digital tools and techniques for extending agricultural knowledge to the developing world. It will discuss on-going projects involving video, rich media, e-learning tools and new emerging software and hardware deployed in India, and Africa where these technologies are being utilized effectively to enhance the agricultural education. The talk will demonstrate some of these technologies and talk about the lessons learned in working with them.
