Many C4 grass species used in restoration activities are highly dependent on arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. A lack of infective fungal propagules can limit the successful establishment of these species. This presentation will discuss the effects of different cover crops on arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal associations of C4 grasses which have been co-seeded with the cover crops.
