The University of Missouri, in partnership with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the Natural Resources Conservation Service has been developing Soil Pedon Interpretations that will provide data to soil survey map units.  The soil survey mapunit, and individual pedon interpretations are used in conservation planning by the Missouri Soil and Water Conservation Districts.  This website integrates the National Cooperative Soil Survey with Conservation Program Planning and Implementation.
