Cotton production in northeast Louisiana has become increasingly reliant on irrigation. However, limited research has addressed cotton water usage in this area. This study developed daily cotton crop coefficients in St. Joseph, LA. Paired weighting lysimeters were used to measure cotton evapotranspiration. Reference evapotranspiration was determined by the Standardized Reference Evapotranspiration Equation using meteorological data from a nearby Louisiana Agriclimatic Information System (LAIS) weather station.
