Field studies were conducted on conventional and transgenic cotton to examine the effect of different fertilizer dosages and plant spacing on non-target insects.  Results indicated significant interactions between cotton hybrids, plant spacing and fertilizer dosages for Bemisia tabaci and Amrasca bigutulla bigutulla. There were no significant differences in sucking insect pest and natural enemy density on conventional and transgenic cotton.
