To help Purdue agriculture students pass STEM-related required courses in mathematics and chemistry, the agriculture program hired and trained students successful in those courses as peer—mentors for regular web-based evening help sessions.  Tutors were introduced and trained in Adobe Connect by professionals from the Information Technology Program (ITaP).  Adobe Connect sessions were conducted on-line from the conference room located in the Agriculture Administration Building on the Purdue University campus.  On-line sessions and solved problems were saved weekly.  Approximately 80 students participated in the on-line sessions during the 2009-2010 academic year.  This session will report the results of the first year of this program.
