Dissolved reactive phosphorus (DRP) levels have been increasing in watersheds of the Lake Erie Basin over the last decade.  A portion of this increase has been attributed to agricultural activities within the Basin.  One specific agricultural activity of concern is the application of nutrients necessary for agronomic production to the soil that can potentially be subject to loss via surface transport.  The objective of this proposed project is to evaluate and demonstrate practices that producers can implement on-farm to decrease the risk of phosphorus transport to surface waters in the Lake Erie Basin.
