Bioenergy sorghum is expected to fill a significant role as a cellulosic biofuel feedstock. Nutrient requirements and removal rates of this feedstock are not well documented. We present biomass nutrient and bioenergy quality data for multiple sorghum varieties grown under both gravity-irrigated and rain-fed conditions in Central Texas. Our variety trials include representative entries of short-, medium- and long-season sweet and forage sorghum. Plant tissue analytical data reveals a range of nutrient removal rates across different sorghum types. Nutrient and quality data summaries are presented for photoperiod sensitive and photoperiod insensitive lines.
