The Affect of Foliar Micronutrient Spray on Soybean Growth

I plan on testing different application rates and application dates of foliar micronutrient spray on soybeans. I will be using a product called Max-in Mn, which is a treatment that supplies soybeans with additional manganese. From this I hope to learn how the different application rates affect soybean growth. This test will be conducted at eleven different plots across the state of Wisconsin. By having numerous test sites I will be able to see the affects of the foliar spray on different weather conditions as well as various soil types. Before application, major soil type of each plot will be determined and tissue samples will be collected. During application and throughout the summer I will record rainfalls and temperatures of each site. Tissue samples will be collected again a week after application, along with the plants current growth stage. Tissue analysis results will be analyzed through the NutriSolutions Tool.  I will compare this data to the growth throughout the growing season, from plot to plot.
