Bt genes have been used for many years to protect maize from insect damage and subsequent yield loss.  Event DAS-59122-7 containing novel Bt insecticidal proteins (Cry34Ab1 and Cry35Ab1) has been used to control corn rootworm damage in crops since 2006.  Yield performance of event DAS-59122-7 has been questioned since its release. This paper will summarize the results of agronomic performance trials supporting DAS-59122-7 conversions over six years (2005-2010).
