26 Data Access and Interchange In Agronomic and Natural Resource Management Research: Opportunities, Challenges, and Ethical Implications

Oral Session
Z01 Z Series Special Sessions

The session will review issues related to data sharing and access as well as provide concrete examples of how meta-analysis can enhance our understanding of diverse plant and soil processes. The session seeks to provide a forum for a frank discussion on data management that might lead to changes in the ethics statements of the Societies, policies for journals relating to publication of data sets, and new activities of the Societies to ensure that published data sets are safely archived.
