24 Graduate Student Networking Session - Building Professional Relationships

Oral Session
Z01 Z Series Special Sessions The Graduate Student Subcommittee will host an organized but informal setting for students to network with other students with similar research and career interests to discuss the benefits and challenges faced in graduate school and within specific fields. The session will be organized as an unconference, or a participatory workshop-event whose content is provided by the participants. Moderators will be present to manage the session and provide organized topics to discuss. The group will break into smaller groups based on the participant’s areas of focus and discuss experiences and challenges within that field. The goal of this session is to allow graduate students and undergraduate students interested in beginning graduate school, to meet others with similar interests (outside of their own university) in order to network and share experiences.
