I will provide an overview of the new Agronomy Society, precision agricultural systems and discuss the purpose of the symposium. The proposed symposium will bring together eminent experts and academician from USA and overseas to capture the current state of Precision Agriculture, its impacts and challenges for feeding the world. It is envisaged that the invited symposium papers will be published as a book which may be published by the Agronomy Society.
