The West Texas A&M University Farm and Ranch Club fundraiser is a spring flower and vegetable seedling sale. The Department of Agricultural Sciences allows the club members to use part of the research/teaching greenhouse to grow their seedlings for the sale. To help give back to the Department and University, club members designed, purchased materials with club funds, and built an irrigation system for the greenhouse bay used for the horticulture course taught in the Department. This project not only allowed the club to give service, but it helped to improve the teaching facilities for future students.
