Abstract

In order to map QTLs  for yield and yield components traits, 169 barley recombinant inbred line (F6generation=RILs) and their parents “Igre” and “Arigashar”, were planted in a simple lattice design with two replications. Analysis of variance showed that there was sufficient variation among the entries.  linkage map constructed by using AFLP and SSR markers that were mapped in  5 linkage groups. QTL mapping was performed for number of spikelet, 1000-seed weight and yield. Two QTLs were identified for each trait and for all trait 6 QTLs identified. Positive and negative allelic effects showed positive and negative correlation between traits.
