Multi-state coordinating committee SCC-083, Quantifying the Linkages Among Soil Health, Organic Farming, and Food, provides a venue for soil, plant nutrition, and environmental scientists to network and collaborate with peers wintin and among disciplines interested in organic farming-soil health-food quality connections. Output goals of the committee include development of grant proposals and projects along with  generation of published literature, including refereed manuscripts.  Since it’s formation in 2010, the Committee has generated an invited book chapter and several multi-institutional grant applications submitted and under development.  Attendees at the 2012 ASA annual meeting are invited to join SCC-083!
