Session Description: The main focus of this poster session is on the movement of excess nutrients from animal manure and byproducts, industrial wastes, and effluents from municipal and sewage treatment facilities into soil, air and water can cause significant environmental problems. Nitrogen and phosphorus from animal manure and other sources have been associated with algal blooms and accelerated eutrophication of estuaries within confined animal production areas.
