Abstract:
Oklahoma winter wheat producers were first introduced to reference strips and optical sensors in the late 90's.  But it wasn't until the past five years did the adoption of the technology really advance.  In this presentation the history and current approaches of extending Sensor Technologies and Adaptive Management systems in Oklahoma.  Throughout the talk the  successes and failures will be highlight along with the vision for the future.
