The uptake of antimicorbials, triclosan and triclocarban by 5 vegetables were studied in  soil columns and validated using C-14 labeled antimicorbials. Treated soil and plant samples were collected after 2 months and extracted and analyzed for antimicorbial concentrations using an LC-MS and Liquid Scintiallation Counter.
