Abstract:
Gypsum is produced as byproduct from coal combustion, however, in Ohio most of this gypsum is deposited in a landfill rather used as a potential source of S fertilizer. A field study was conducted over four years (2009-2012) in central Ohio to compare yield and forage quality responses of alfalfa to applied gypsum and elemental S.
