Abstract:
The humic acid-like (HAL) substances are important resources for reducing mineralization of bio-labile compounds as well as soil remediation from contaminants due to its carboxyl and phenolic hydroxyl group interaction with various soil components. The aims of this research were to study the functional composition and molecular structures of HAL and to evaluate heterogeneity of HAL isolated from two different sources of compost. We will investigate detailed molecular structure of HAL substances using FTIR and Pyrolysis-Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry.
