Smartphones are becoming increasingly important devices in education. Whether trying to reach students or industry professionals, educators and extension agents must continue to expand their knowledge and use of mobile devices and the numerous applications available. Mobile apps are currently available that can help with productivity, problem solving, information gathering and more. In this seminar, participants will learn about some of the top mobile apps available in the agricultural community and how to harness their power to educate and assist the industry. Attention will also be given to resources and services that allow for the relatively simple creation of custom mobile applications by educators and industry professionals.
