Wednesday, November 6, 2013: 10:35 AM
Tampa Convention Center, Room 12, First Floor

Tracy M Wilson and Jason G. Warren, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK
Climate change mitigation and adaptation is a touchy subject, especially in Oklahoma. In fact, people can become very agitated at the first mention of climate change. However, it is still important that producers, Ag educators, Ag business people and conservationist have an accurate understanding of the impact agriculture has on greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere as well how alterations in management may influence that impact. More important still is the fact that producer will be responsible for implementing strategies to increase the resilience of the agricultural system to future changes in climate.
