Ecosystem Services: Beyond Stormwater

Oral Session

SSSA Division: Consulting Soil Scientists

Ecosystem services include: clean air, water and soil, conservation of biodiversity, and wildlife habitat protection. Stormwater management strategies which mimic natural systems are held in high regard because of the ecosystem services provided. Success is predicated on using soil and plant assemblages effectively. We invite presentations that will provide practical tools to leverage and promote ecosystem services in the context of stormwater management.
