Session Description: Greenhouse gas emissions from crop and animal production represent a substantial part of the global greenhouse gas budget.  Emissions and sinks within agricultural systems are varied and need to be quantified.  Where applicable, the effect of varying management practices also need to be assessed.  This oral session will focus on these issues in cropping and/or animal production settings.

Reviewer's Comments: This session is intended to be a general oral session for members of either Animal Agriculture and the Environment and the Soil Carbon and Greenhouse gas Emission community. The AA&E community is entering a general poster session.
