Session Description: This is a general session for presentations on advances in measurement techniques, current research findings and numerical simulation of soil-plant-water relations. Presentations may identify knowledge gaps and research priorities in soil-plant-water relations needed to address changes in climate, genetics and management. Application of measurement techniques in root, soil moisture, and plant water status can support analysis of critical growth stages of crops for moisture stress and impact of soil-water status on crop yield (crop specific knowledgebase).
