Abstract:
This paper reports on recent experimental results and literature findings on nutrient partitioning in C4 biomass grasses, with special emphasis on miscanthus (Miscanthus spp.) and switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.). Nutrient concentrations in different plant organs are analyzed and presented. Knowledge gaps and future research needs are discussed.
