Abstract:
In an effort to alleviate test anxiety and farmer frustration the SNickers Retrospective Survey was introduced in 1988.   The model depended on the participants' retrospective self-assessment of progress toward each educational objective.   The keystone of the model is a bulls-eye target graphic.   We employed this evaluation tool in a North American university classroom, a small farm community workshops in rural Arkansas,  Haiti, Kenya, Belgium, and Nicaragua.   We found the SNickers model to be effective across all venues to evaluate learning and improve teaching.   This presentation will cover the model and changes made to use in the international setting.
