Abstract:
This presentation will provide information on the plant variety protection form of intellectual property rights, and the Plant Variety Protection Act (PVPA).  The PVPA provides intellectual property rights protection in the United States to breeders of new varieties of plants that are sexually reproduced (by seed) or tuber-propagated.      PVP certificates are issues by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.
