The Graduate Student Committee proposes to host a session intended to inform current graduate students of the various potential career paths available to new graduates. The discussion and panelist selection will span both traditional and emerging/non-tradition career opportunities for graduates in crop, soils, agronomy, and entomology. Panel members will be given an opportunity to describe their own career path and discuss the current career opportunities in their chosen field. Following the presentations, students will be allowed time to ask general questions to the panelists. The session will be concluded with small breakout sessions covering careers in non-governmental organizations (NGO), academia, industry, and the international sector. Students will have the opportunity to speak with and ask more focused or specific questions during the breakout session.
